I am so excited to be working with everyone this year, despite all of the unknowns that are upon us! While we aren’t doing marching competitions this year, we still want to strive to improve as musicians by setting new goals and becoming a closer band family throughout the year!

Congratulations to our first SECTION OF THE MONTH for this year: the Brass Section! As the section of the month, those who were with us for those first 2 weeks of optional Band Camp will be exempt from setting and cleaning up after rehearsals, and will also be given an extra credit grade for their hard work over these past 2 weeks.

Rehearsals from here on out will be from 6 – 8 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays with everyone together. In order to accommodate this request from parents for transportation issues, we will be moving our monthly meeting for the Band Boosters Board to the first MONDAY of each month, and the Parents’ Meetings on the second MONDAY of each month at 6PM. Since this months 2nd Monday is a holiday however, this months’ meeting will be Wednesday September 9th at 6PM.
